I am pleased to announce the door-to-door campaign to obtain approval of two proposed amendments was successful.  Both amendments have passed with greater than 75% approval of the owners.

The ballots and vote count have been forwarded to the community attorney.  From the attorney’s office, the amendments will go to Boone County to be recorded.  I will notify the community after everything is finalized. 

 

Amendment #1: The number of leased units will not exceed 10% of the total number of units in the Association.

 

Amendment # 2: The deductible will not be greater than 20% of the annual cost of the policy premium. 

 

Approval of these amendments is beneficial to the community and will allow us to limit rentals and increase the insurance deductible.
